Joey Barton wanted to support his team at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea - but found his way barred when the QPR captain was denied admission.
The midfielder, out of Harry Redknapp's side with a hamstring injury, had hoped to watch his side take on the Premier League leaders in SW6.
But he tweeted pre-match this afternoon: “Been a change of plan. Heading now to Brentford v Derby. Couldn't get a ticket for Chelsea v QPR? #nojoke”
Barton might be expected to be having a few words with his contact in the ticket office on Monday morning.
