Sam Winnall's departure from Barnsley to Sheffield Wednesday will not impact on Fulham's plans for Saturday's meeting with the Tykes.
The striker was a key player for the Yorkshire side but Barnsley will now have to do without his services after completing a move to the steel city.
Jokanovic, though, sees those situations but instead focuses on what the Whites can do, rather than worry about transfers elsewhere.
He said: “We follow all the information about Barnsley but this is not in my control. I have to work with my team and fully focus on preparing for what we must do in the game.
“Generally, this is my job and I expect after the Brighton game where we played very good football but without the result.
“We need to have the mentality of doing better and being more clinical to win the points.”
Jokanovic is impressed with how Barnsley have performed this season and knows they will pose a threat to his side.
He added: “Barnsley have won more points than us at this moment. They are a very dangerous team and they're organised.
“They're good on the counter attack. We have to concentrate. They know their strengths and will try and damage us with what they do well.
“We play in front of our supporters and our ambition is to push, dominate and win three points.”
Elsewhere, Fulham have named Sportito as its Official Fantasy Sports partner, effective through to the end of the 2016/17 season.
Sportito is a new daily fantasy sports operator, which has recently launched in the UK and offers fantasy enthusiasts the most dynamic game on the market.
With football as its core-sporting component, gamers using Sportito are free from salary cap restrictions, which allows them to draft teams using any player.
Casper Stylsvig, chief revenue officer at Fulham Football Club said: “Sportito is an innovative new fantasy sports brand and one that I am happy to welcome as an official partner of Fulham.
“We are working hard to engage with new organisations that share our desire for an exciting collaboration, which can be mutually successful.
“We are confident therefore that we can assist in Sportito’s objectives and drive Fulham FC fans and the wider football community to sign up to and play the game online.”
Riccardo Mittiga, CEO at Sportito commented: “We are more than happy to partner up with Fulham FC, one of the oldest Football Clubs in the UK with a fan base spread throughout the UK and worldwide.
"It is a great opportunity for us to introduce Sportito to Whites fans and engage with them to show how exciting it is to play fantasy sports and win real cash on Sportito.”
