BARNET ran the rule over potential recruits this week as boss Edgar Davids looks to assemble a squad capable of pushing for promotion back to the Football League.
The Bees took look at players from as far afield as Spain and Holland as well as a few from closer to home as the start of the new Conference Premier season draws nearer.
Around 15 trialists took part in a practice match at the club's Hive training facility on Tuesday afternoon.
Dutchman Marciano Mengerink was among the players, with the striker not yet having signed for Barnet due to a contract dispute with IJsselmeervogels.
However, Ecija winger Ruben Cruz was not on the field, despite having been training with the club in the past few weeks.
Former Newport County right-back Michael Boateng, whose name had been previously mentioned by Barnet fans, was also present and he excelled at right-back.
Versatile defender Chris Assombalonga and a two Wingate and Finchley players also participated.
