BARNET will begin their quest to regain Football League status at home Chester.

Edgar Davids’ side will start the new Conference Premier season against the newly-promoted Blues on August 10.

Trips to Tamworth and Gateshead follow before a home clash with Nuneaton and an away-day at Braintree in their first five fixtures.

Boxing day sees non-league giants Luton Town visit the Hive, two days later is a visit to Salisbury, before the return fixture with Luton at Kenilworth Road on New Year’s Day.

The April run-in sees the Bees take on Forest Green, Southport, Halifax Town, Nuneaton and Braintree.

Barnet end the season away to Lincoln City on April 26.
