BARNET are taking a look at out-of-contract goalkeeper Nick Jupp.

The 24-year old has been training with Edgar Davids’ side for the last couple of days, and is hoping to join the club as an understudy to Graham Stack.

He has spent the last two seasons with St Albans City, where he was a stalwart in their first-team, appearing 87 times in all competitions for the club.

His impressive form for the Clarence Park outfit saw him called up to a provisional England C squad, who are managed by Paul Fairclough, Barnet’s Director of Football.

Jupp was released by the Saints in May and is free to move to the Hive.

The former Harrow keeper will start for Barnet tonight against Hendon in what will be an experimental line-up, consisting predominantly trialists and the younger members of the squad.
