Barnet will look to continue their sensational home form against Hartlepool United on Saturday without Elliot Johnson and Shaun Batt.

The duo missed Tuesday’s win over Plymouth Argyle and will again be absent for the clash with Pools as Johnson recovers from a hip injury and Batt nurses a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper Graham Stack also sat out the 1-0 win over the Pilgrims as he continues to recover from a long term groin issue.

Martin Allen’s side are 15th in League Two but boast the second best home form in the division, having lost just five in 25 matches at The Hive.

The Bees have also taken points away from promotion chasing sides in each of their last three games.

John Akinde is in fine form having scored the winner against Portsmouth and the equaliser against Accrington Stanley, while Andy Yiadom’s strike earned all three points against Plymouth.

Barnet have lost just one of their last eight matches, keeping six clean sheets in the process, while 22nd place Hartlepool have won just two of their last ten games in League Two.

Hartlepool manager Craig Hignett hopes to have defensive lynchpin Matthew Bates back for the match after the centre-half was withdrawn with a back problem in the 4-1 loss at Bristol Rovers.
