Barnet boss Martin Allen remains is in a positive mood ahead of Saturday's Conference Premier game against Kidderminster at the Hive.

The Bees suffered their first away defeat of the season on Tuesday night losing 2-1 to Macclesfield at Moss Rose but Allen is staying upbeat ahead of the Bees clash with the Harriers.

Allen told the club's website: "It’s the first game that we have lost away from home so I haven’t had to say this very often but I said well done, get the warm down done, get the food and the drinks, get sleeping on the way home and get ready now to prepare for Saturday.

“There’s no shouting, ranting or raving. It’s a case of getting our heads down and let’s get ready now for the next one and that is what we will all do.”

Kidderminster sit ninth in the Conference and are likely to provide a stern test for Allen's side who are top of the division.

David Stephens is likely to return to return to the Barnet starting lineup after missing his first league game in more than two years against Macclesfield.

Meanwhile, Bees skipper Charlie MacDonald is yet to return to first team action after suffering a knee injury in September against Dover.
