Two-goal hero Adam Bark scored from the halfway line as Beesotted's second string edged out Hanworth Park in a 12-goal thriller.

Bark's brace, coupled with strikes from David Knowles, Paul Heffernan, Stephen Poole and an own goal, saw the Bees race into a 6-1 lead.

But the visitors hit back with four goals to ensure a nervy finish, before Michael Blake sealed the win late on as they ran out 7-5 winners.

Beesotted's first team geared up for next week's Chiswick and District League opener with a comfortable 4-1 friendly win over Moorland United on Sunday.

Kevin Farren put the Brentford supporters' side ahead before the lively Jamie Fraser doubled their lead before the break.

Daniel Harris gave them an unassailable lead from Fraser's pass, before Moorland pulled one back near the end.

However, Fraser restored their three-goal cushion when he latched onto Jamie Harris' long punt up field before firing home.

Rob Burville was solid for Mark Harris' men against his former side.
