NEIL Warnock insists tomorrow will be a big test whether Anton Ferdinand can follow brother Rio into the England set-up.

The QPR defender has been in fine form for Rangers since his switch from Sunderland this summer.

But his boss admits he will have his work cut out against Manchester City's millionaires at Loftus Road .

“I don’t think Anton’s there yet,” said Warnock. “He’s got to be consistent throughout the entire season, although he’s definitely got all the attributes.”

However, the manager had no sympathy for his player’s use of Twitter during the alleged racist row with Chelsea’s John Terry .

Ferdinand has apparently been abused on his own web page, although the manager has warned him to ditch the social network site.

“I think he’s a twit for using Twitter,” said Warnock. “I’m not a fan of players talking to groups of fans using the site.

“If I were him, I’d keep my head down and let matters take their course.”
