Simeon Akinola could return to the Harrow Borough squad for tonight’s trip to Enfield Town.

The Reds had feared Akinola had torn his hamstring in the 1-1 draw at Lewes earlier this month.

However, tests have concluded the damage was not as significant as Dave Anderson’s medical team had feared.

He may now feature in today’s match, which is subject to a 1pm pitch inspection, but is more likely to return for Saturday’s visit of Leiston.

Enfield are struggling in the Ryman Premier this season and find themselves anchored in the relegation zone, having collected just 18 points from 26 games this term.

Borough are looking to bounce back from a narrow 3-2 defeat against league leaders Dulwich Hamlet, which boss Anderson will take plenty of positives away from.
