Children and teachers up and down the country return to school tomorrow after a relaxing six week break over the summer.

Sadly for the teams behind the scenes at our west London football clubs, the six weeks have been relentless as they were tasked with strengthening the playing squads.

But how would we grade the transfer activity done at Brentford this summer?

Assessment

The signings made by the club have been encouraging so far, with the Bees unfortunate not to have done better so far in the league this season.

Losing Jota, Maxime Colin and Harlee Dean to Birmingham City in the final 24 hours of the transfer window will be seen as a big blow to the fans, but the club will be hoping that they have enough quality to improve on last season’s display, but this remains to be seen,
