AFC Wimbledon will be hoping a former restaurant worker doesn't manage to serve up too much trouble for them on Saturday.

Ade Yusuff spent the night before making his Football League debut for Dagenham & Redbridge doing his shift at Wagamama's in Bluewater.

Up until that moment he had been playing non-league football with Ryman One North side Chatham Town, making him ineligible for the FA Cup at the weekend.

On the touchline: Neal Ardley and Neal Cox are planning for the Daggers

But since signing for Wayne Burnett's Daggers, Yusuff has been making a name for himself both on and off the pitch and he will be looking to continue that against the Dons.

His story has made national headlines and according to George Sessions from the Barking & Dagenham Post he has been well worth the risk.

Sessions explained: "He is a really exciting player, does mazy runs in every game and the whole thing is a real fairytale.”

Evergreen: Dagenham & Redbridge's Jamie Cureton

Evergreen striker Jamie Cureton may be 39 now but Sessions believes there's plenty of life left in his legs yet.

The former Norwich City forward has found the net six times this season and has been racking up the appearances, making 18 so far.

Sessions added: "He has been outstanding this season and against Cheltenham he showed great pace to get away from his man to score.

Bags of experience: Jamie Cureton in his Reading days

"Cureton has a great footballing brain and he knows exactly where to be so his team-mates can always find it."

The third man on Sessions' list is Ashley Chambers who is 'Mr Versatile' according to the Daggers reporter.

"Chambers can play up front or on the right or the left," he said. He's got great pace and he will always take people on and try to beat them.

Mr Versatile: Dagenham & Redbridge's Ashley Chambers

"He also works really hard for the team and he is also a big threat when it comes to set pieces."

Wimbledon will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of a JPT exit to Bristol City this weekend.
