AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley won't rush into making further signings as he assembles a new-look squad to push on in League One.

Having signed proven striker Kwesi Appiah and Deji Oshilaja, Ardley is remaining patient three weeks before pre-season training begins.

The boss has actively been looking to bring extra quality for the last six weeks since the last game of the season.

Speaking to Wimbledon's club website, he said: "We have a lot to do. I made that big statement after the Bradford game when I said that there were a lot of things I needed to get right.

"It does not happen overnight, some of them might not happen until pre-season, but we have to do a lot of stuff both ways.

"You try to fit your holidays around it. I've worked hard on the two additions we've made so far and I am absolutely delighted with the pair of them.

"Going forward, hopefully there will be some more."

Meanwhile, Dons supporters will be able to ask Ardley questions in this summer's Meet the Manager event in July.

Starting at 7.30pm on Friday, July 7, the club will also be unveiling their brand new third kit, the day before the club's first pre-season game against Eastleigh.
