The man who clinched League Two promotion for AFC Wimbledon famously said he is open to offers after being told his last kick for Dons was the successful penalty that sunk Plymouth Argyle, 2-0.

Adebayo 'The Beast' Akinfenwa sent keeper Luke McCormick the wrong way to herald scenes of Wembley joy for 20,000 fans, but as the scorer put it, is now 'technically unemployed.'

He urged would-be takers to have a punt on him next term. "I think I’m technically unemployed. So any managers out there, hit me up on the WhatsApp and give me a job," he said straight after the fabulous victory.

However, betting odds today suggest there is plenty of interest out there for the folk hero, with beaten play-off semi-finalists Portsmouth favourites to get his signature and even a curious 33/1 punt on FC United of Manchester becoming Akinfenwa's next port of call.

GetWestLondon's not sure the reception their hero would get next season if he were to sign for hated MK Dons, priced at 33/1.

Here is Skybet's full list of Beast bets.
