Adel Taarabt believes a bit of the rough stuff will do him a power of good at QPR.

The 19-year-old loanee from Spurs dazzled and bemused a Bristol City's defence for 80 minutes before ghosting into the box and scoring the Rs' winner in the 2-1 success on Saturday.

But the Moroccan international reckons he's still a youngster when it comes to physical battles - and wants to harden up in the Championship with The Hoops.

He said: "The challenge for me at QPR is to play with men. They will attack you, and the more I get used to it - the better it will be for me in the end.

"My boss at Spurs, Harry Redknapp told me to come here and come back stronger.

"And it appealed for me to come to Rangers, because it wasn't going to be a problem moving away from London."

Jordi Lopez hit a peach of a free-kick to put Rangers in the lead, only to see it cancelled out by Michael McIndoe's equally good hit for City's equaliser.

Taarabt then swooped for not only his first goal in English football, but Rangers second win on the spin.
