AFC Hayes picked up only their third win of the season in the British Gas Business League Dikvision One South & West when won 3-2 at local rivals Slough Town last night (Tuesday).

With several changes from the side that slumped to a 4-1 defeat against Bridgwater Town on Saturday, Joe Mitchell's side went ahead through Walters on 40 minutes.

Charlery made it 2-0 on 50 minutes but within a minute Slough had pulled a goal back before on loan striker Dean Papali put AFC 3-1 ahead on 63 minutes.

Slough substitute Dean Harper pulled a goal back two minutes from time but it was not enough to prevent AFC from collecting three vital points in their bid to move out of the bottom two in the table.
