AFC Hayes ripped apart local rivals Uxbridge as they romped to a 6-0 win in the Middlesex Senior Cup clash.

Both British Gas Business League Division South and West sides made a number of changes for the second round tie but it was AFC who dominated on the night.

First half goals from Trevor Charlery and Scott Wadge put Hayes in control and when James Duncan added a third goal on 62 minutes the match was effectively over as a contest.

Christopher Day, Charlery and Ross Ahir added further goals as AFC continued their fine recent form against an Uxbridge side resting all their key players ahead of Saturday's FA Trophy clash with AFC Wimbledon.

Northwood went out of the competition when they were beaten by a late goal at Conference South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.

There was a further blow for Woods as goalkeeper Mitch Swain was taken to hospital with a leg injury during the 1-0 defeat.
