Harrow St Mary's Under-13's side capped a remarkable turnaround in fortunes by winning the coveted Under-13 County League Knock Out Championship on Monday.

After a hellish last three months of their season, Saints trounced North London by nine wickets to be crowned county champions.

Saints elected to bowl and restricted North London to 1-2 for eight with all five bowlers, Gautam Talwar, Rishi Kotecha, Haseem Hussain, Talha Juniad and KishenKaria showing good discipline.

In reply, Saints' openers put on a steady 48 from 11 overs, but then Karia (52) and Juniad (34) put the bowlers to the sword as Saints reached the target with five overs to spare.

Skipper Dhiren DeSilva lifted the distinctive sword trophy as coaches Ullash Karia and Bhavesh Patel looked on.

Harrow St Marys beat Ealing in the quarter finals before overcoming Sunbury in the last four at the Teddington Ground.
