Warwickshire moved past 300 in a rain interupted morning on the second day of the County Championship match with Middlesex at Park Road, Uxbridge.
Middlesex had some early success as Tim Murtagh trapped Jim Troughton lbw for 88 and then Steve Finn picked up his third wicket clean bowling Ian Salisbury for just two. Warwickshire had resumed the second day on 271 for 5.
However, league leaders Warwickshire moved on to 301 for 7 at lunch with Ant Botha still there on 38 not out.
