MIDDLESEX COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION TWO

Harrow 228-9

Uxbridge 160-8

Losing draw for Uxbridge

UXBRIDGE battled to a losing draw against a strong Harrow side on Saturday.

The hosts have only put one win on the board so far this season and Harrow made sure they did not add to that number this weekend.

Harrow, who are still chasing down the leaders from fourth place in the table, won the toss and decided to bat first.

They posted a decent score of 228-9 in 51 overs, leaving second-from-bottom Uxbridge with it all to do in their innings.

In reply, Uxbridge ground out a point by clinging on for a share of the spoils at 160-8.

Also in Division Two, Charith Gunasekara (36) top scored for Ickenham as they slumped to a disappointing seven-wicket defeat to Southgate.

Eastcote remain without a Premier Division victory this season after they were beaten by Winchmore Hill. Ravi Patel hit a half-century but could not prevent a six-wicket loss.
