Pinner (183-9) drew with Crouch End (242-7)

CROUCH End's overseas player Hitesh Goswami was the thorn in Pinner's side as they clung on for a losing draw.

He struck 103 of his side's 242 total before claiming seven wickets for just 24 runs off 19 overs.

Gary Steadman (two for 37) and Laurence Schreiber (two for 60) took the bowling honours for Pinner. Ankur Amberkar (36) and Gaurav Thakur (35*) were instrumental in Pinner holding out for the draw.

On Sunday the first team overcame Ruislip Victoria by two runs. Abdul Majid struck 67 as Pinner were skittled for 187 before Ruilsip could only reach 185 for nine. Joban Kapoor was Pinner's best bowler, with four for 15.

The seconds also drew with their Crouch End counterparts after posting 280 for five, with Sanket Shah (71*), Kam Mistry (55) and Wiggins Hippolyte (43) doing the damage.

In reply Crouch End were up with the rate for the first 20 overs, but spin twins Kam Mistry and Manoj Pereira tied up the batting to allow Crouch End to finish on 211 for six with Sachin Hedge taking four for 51.

Pinner's development XI scraped a draw with Birkbeck College, who posted 230 for five. Pinner managed 122 for nine with Jack Tucker scoring an impressive 70.
