Middlesex duo Eoin Morgan and Steven Finn have been selected for the England one-day squad to tour Sri Lanka next month.

The pair are part of a 16-man squad who will play seven ODIs, with one eye on next year's ICC Cricket World Cup.

However, they will both be hoping they don't fly out to the subcontinent with their county a Division Two side in the Championship.

Middlesex are currently halfway through their Division One relegation decider at Lancashire, with the game balanced on a knife edge going into day three.

In a game they need to win or draw, or ensure enough batting and bowling points in the event of a defeat, to survive, they so far have two to Lancashire's five.

Play will resume at 10.30am with Lancashire on 259-6, having recovered from 160-5, with Middlesex having posted 214 in their first innings.

As it stands, the hosts must win and reach the 300-mark to earn a third batting bonus point, while ensuring that Middlesex do not claim a third bowling point.
