HEADSTONE Manor Ladies secured a Southern League win with a strong performance against Spencer on Sunday.

Manor's top order batted well in a total of 123 for nine, with Jaya Pindoria top-scoring with an elegant 42.

There was useful support from Nikki Ravi (19) and Neeru Ravi (17) who pushed the score along well with excellent running between the wickets.

Sharp fielding, including two run outs by Hannah Stobbs, soon had Spencer in trouble in their reply.

Bushra Chaudry took 3-11 with her slow left arm bowling, while both Mala Bhanderi and Neeru Ravi proved to be highly economical.

Spencer battled bravely on but were all out for 69, giving Headstone Manor their first win in their new home at the Old Lyonians Sports and Social Club ground in Pinner View.
