Kensington 236-9 (40 overs) Richmond 240-1 (34.1 overs) KENSINGTON won by nine wickets
IT'S ALL Adam Gilchrist's fault Kensington got caned on Sunday.
Had the Australian legend not started a scheme whereby two of his country's young hopes come and play for his former south-west London club each season, Kensington might have stood a chance.
As it turned out, Ben Dougall from New South Wales took 4-24 at
the tail end of Kenny's innings with Matthew Marshall top-scoring on 59, and brothers Tim Keleher (40) and Jamie Keleher (39) not far behind.
But it was with the bat 17-year-old Dougall took the west London Poms apart.
Kensington actually took a Richmond wicket in their first over, thanks to Hammad Rishad - but then suffered Dougall thumping an unbeaten 137, with Rob Peattie also carrying his bat for 82.
