Paul Collingwood lit up Park Road yesterday (Sunday) as Durnham beat Middlesex by seven wickets in the Pro 40 Division One match.

Collingwood delighted the good Uxbridge crowd as he made 78 not out off 66 balls to bounce back from the disappointment of being axed for England's second Test with South Africa.

Batting first Middlesex were dismissed for 200 off 36.1 overs with Owais Shah hitting 73 and Ed Joyce 43 as Steve Harmison took 4 for 31.

Collingwood then stole the show as he hit six sixes in a stand of 132 with Shiv Chanderpaul (58) as Durnham reached 202 for 3 to win with 23 balls to spare in the final match of this year's Uxbridge Cricket Festival.
