People will be wrapping up warm in west London this weekend as the temperature is expected to plummet.

The Met Office has said it will "feel like winter" by Friday (December 8) as biting winds will make it seem colder than it actually is.

It says that it will become "increasingly cold" and at some points over the weekend it will feel like it is -4C. However, no snow is forecast.

Uxbridge

It will be dry and cloudy on Monday (December 4), Tuesday (December 5) and Wednesday (December 6), and temperatures will range between 4C and 10C.

Light rain and strong winds are forecast for Thursday (December 7) afternoon and temperatures are due to plummet over the weekend.

The Met Office says it will become "increasingly cold Thursday and Friday with occasional wintry showers and a biting wind."

Hounslow

It will be cloudy but dry up until 3pm on Wednesday when light rain is expected.

Light showers are also expected on Thursday before the temperature drops and cold winds sweep in on Friday.

The temperature is not expected to climb above 4C all weekend, but it will feel as cold as -4C on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Ealing

Temperatures will range between 7C and 10C up until Wednesday night but patches of frost are expected to form overnight.

Light showers are expected at midday on Thursday before the clouds clear and the cold weather arrives on Friday.

It will not feel any warmer than 0C throughout the weekend, says the Met Office.

Hammersmith

It will be dry with several cloudy and sunny spells on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the temperature is not expected to drop below 7C.

Light rain is forecast between 9am and 3pm on Thursday and the temperature is expected to drop on Friday.

It will not feel any warmed than 0C until 3pm on Sunday.

Kensington

Cloudy skies and mild conditions are forecast until 9am on Thursday when light rain is expected.

The clouds will then clear but cold rain will sweep in and make it feel as cold as -4C on Sunday morning.

Harrow

It will be overcast but dry throughout Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but wind and rain are expected to arrive at midday on Thursday.

The skies are then due to clear and the Met Office is expecting plenty of sunshine on Friday and Saturday.

However, it will be very cold and at various points over the weekend it will feel as cold as -4C.

Wembley

Cloudy skies and temperatures ranging between 6C and 10C are expected until Thursday morning, when light rain is forecast between 3am and 3pm.

Sunny skies and biting winds are expected over weekend when it will not feel any warmer than 1C.
