A jewellery thief looted a home in Brent of hundreds of pieces of intricate, one-of-a-kind rings, necklaces and brooches.

Suspects forced entry to the address, in the Queensbury area, through a window, and snatched more than 300 items of jewellery, perfume and other items belonging to the victim.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Please take a look at the images which identify just some of the pieces of jewellery that were taken.

"The items are recognisable as they are very distinctive in design."

The loot included unique, antique pieces

The burglary took place between midday on Tuesday (March 7) and 9am Wednesday (March 8).

Hundreds of pieces such as these were taken

Brent Police published a plea on Twitter: "If you have any information about these items or if someone has tried to sell them to you, please do not hesitate to contact us on 020 8733 3737."
