Eviction notices have been handed to the small group of travellers who set up on green space in Yiewsley on Thursday evening (January 19).
The Metropolitan Police were called to Philpot's Farm near the Tesco supermarket at around 5.12pm after reports that the travellers had moved into the site.
Hillingdon Council served the occupants with eviction notices ordering them to leave by 10am on Friday (January 20).
Police said that the order is being complied with.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 5.12pm on Thursday, January 19 following reports that a group of travellers had gained access to a site off High Street, Yiewsley.
“Eviction notices were served by Hillingdon Council for the travellers to leave the site by 10am on Friday.
“This is being complied with”.
Police were also on the scene in order to “prevent any breach of the piece.”
A large group of around 50 caravans were evicted from the same site in July last year.
Hillingdon Council revealed in September 2016 that they had spent around £200,000 cleaning up after travellers.
There were 17 reports of travellers at sites in the borough by last September, which was described as “much higher” than previous years.
Hillingdon Council has been approached for comment.
