A man in his late teens was taken to hospital after he was found with a stab injury in Yiewsley on Saturday night (May 6).

Metropolitan Police officers from Hillingdon station were called to Acacia Avenue at 6.10pm where they found the teenager.

The London Ambulance Service also attended the scene and took the man to a west London hospital where he is in "a stable condition."

Enquiries continue and a vehicle has been seized as part of the investigation.

Just over a week before this incident, a 90-year-old was left fighting for her life after being attacked in Lilac Place , just one road away from Acacia Avenue.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police in Hillingdon were called to Acacia Avenue, Yiewsley, at 18:10hrs on Saturday, May 6 following reports of a stabbing.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found a male in his late teens suffering from a stab injury.

"He was taken by LAS to a west London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

"No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue. One vehicle has been seized as part of this investigation."
