Would you pass the UK Citizenship test? It's not as easy as you think

Working age immigrants wishing to become British citizens have to correctly answer 75% of the questions to pass

The UK Citizenship test also know as the "Life in the UK" test is compulsory for working age immigrants who want to become British citizens.

In 2016, across England, 125,925 tests were taken and 36% of people failed.

The test has 24 questions, that must be completed within 45 minutes, and the applicant must answer at least 75% of the questions correctly to pass.

At around 60 test centres in the UK, applicants are quizzed on a range of challenging questions that cover aspects of British culture and history featuring monarchy, Stonehenge and motoring laws.

Can you answer the UK Citizenship quiz questions correctly?

People who fail the test can re-take as many times as they like, but it costs £50 each time.

Once an applicant has passed they must have also spend a certain period of time in the country, pass an English language test, and not have any criminal convictions in order to gain British citizenship.
