A woman who went missing from St Mary's Hospital , Paddington over the bank holiday weekend has been found.

Metropolitan Police had been appealing to trace 43-year-old Sushma Lal, who had not been seen since 8pm on Sunday (August 27).

Westminster Police confirmed early on Thursday morning (August 31) that the woman has now been found and is "safe and well".

Metropolitan Police thanked the public for their help in locating the missing woman.
