A 31-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving following an incident in West Drayton.

Sonya Pannu, of North Park, Iver in Buckinghamshire, was charged with causing the death of Irene Valverde-Martinez on April 10 last year on Sipson Road, West Drayton, police said.

Ms Pannu was also charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving in respect of a 30-year-old man who was discharged from hospital following the incident.

She appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday (June 26) where she entered a plea of not guilty to both charges, according to police.

Her trial is scheduled to take place on November 16 at Isleworth Crown Court.
