A woman has been left with "possibly life-changing' injuries after a collision in Knightsbridge on the afternoon of Monday, March 13.

Police were called to the scene at 4.45pm to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car in Brompton Road, close to Brompton Square.

London Ambulance Service were also at the scene.

A 60-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries, which are deemed "possibly life-changing" according to police.

A man, who was driving the car, was arrested at the scene in connection with driving-related offences.

He remains in custody at a west London police station.

Police are urging anyone with information to call them on 101.
