The Metropolitan Police has launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious collision in Shepherd's Bush .

Officers were called to the scene in Wood Lane at the junction with Caverswall Street at a 11.50am on Wednesday (July 12) to reports of a collision between a lorry and a cyclist.

London Ambulance Service also attended the scene and the cyclist, a woman in her 50s, was taken to a central London hospital.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and she remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are now investigating

Enquiries into the incident continue.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157.
