A woman who was being sought by police investigating allegations of racist abuse on the Circle line near Paddington has come forward.

British Transport Police (BTP) had appealed on Monday (April 11) for information following an incident in which it said two men were racially abused on the Tube between Paddington and Euston Square on January 24.

It said a woman had voluntarily contacted police following the appeal and would be interviewed in due course.

BTP thanked the public and the media for their assistance with the appeal.
