Two people have been taken to hospital after a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian in Harrow.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, remains in serious condition in hospital following the road traffic collision on Eastcote Lane, at the junction with Salter Close, Harrow.

The male motorcyclist in his 30s was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his minor injuries.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Alperton are appealing for witnesses following the accident at around 8.35pm on Friday October 16.

London Ambulance Services rushed the woman to a central London hospital to treat her injuries which are not thought to be life threatening, police said.

Next of kin have been informed.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
