A newly-discovered portrait of Sir Winston Churchill is set to attract international attention when it goes on display for the first time in South Kensington.

The painting by Walter Sickert will be shown at The 20/21 British Art Fair at The Royal College of Art in Kensington Gore, from September 9-13.

Priced at £50,000 and measuring 28 x 20 inches, it was painted at Chartwell in 1927 when Churchill was Chancellor of the Exchequer.
