Facebook users across the world are falling for the latest viral hoax message

"Please tell all the contacts in your Messenger list, not to accept Jayden K Smith friendship request," the viral message states.

"He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked.

"Make sure that all your friends know it."

Social media users across the world are forwarding the message on to their contacts, only to find it is another hoax post to go viral on Facebook.

There is no evidence to suggest a user named Jayden K Smith is adding Facebook users on a large scale and it is also unlikely anyone can hack into an account after accepting someone's friendship request.

Information hackers usually require to gain access into an account is a password, or they would need to persuade a social media user to download an infected file onto your laptop or mobile.

On top of this, any users sending a lot of friendship requests to unknown users will catch the attention of Facebook's moderators, as it is against the website's terms and conditions, in relation to spam.
