A man killed by a train at Whitton station was from Hanworth, police say.
The 36-year-old man died following the incident at around 8am on Tuesday morning (Sept 1).
British Transport Police (BTP) attended as well as paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
A BTP spokesman said: "A 36-year-old man, from Hanworth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The man's family have been informed.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
LAS sent a hazardous area response team, a duty manager and a single responder in a car to the scene.
An LAS spokesman added: “We were called at 8.08am to reports of an incident.
“Sadly a patient died at the scene.”
