Pupils in London were reportedly evacuated after a 16-year-old suffered stab injuries at Westminster Kingsway College.

Officers from Metropolitan Police were called at 2.56pm on Friday (November 17) to reports of a stabbing in Grays Inn Road.

On their arrival, alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, officers found a 16-year-old boy suffering stab injuries.

A spokesman for Metropolitan Police confirmed he has been taken to a central London hospital.

“We await an update on his condition,” the spokesman said after the incident near King's Cross station.

A witness outside the college earlier recalled seeing pupils evacuating the college as police and paramedics ran inside.

Natalie Morris said on Twitter: "Police and paramedics [were] rushing inside.

"Kids outside tell me they think someone was stabbed."

No arrests have been made and this time and enquiries continue.
