A massive batch of West London Sandwiches products that may be "unfit for human consumption" were recalled on Tuesday (December 5).

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) found that 13 types of sandwiches made by Southall -based company West London Sandwiches were "produced in unhygienic conditions".

Favourites including BLT, ham and cheese and egg and cress were among the products recalled.

The sandwiches recalled had use by dates of up to and including December 6, 2017.

The FSA advises anyone who bought the sandwiches not to eat them and to return them to the shop where they bought them for a full refund.
