A number of roads in west London are subject to closures and roadworks next week as Transport for London (TfL) advises road users to check their route before jumping in the car and heading to work.

Road resurfacing works are forcing closures in Isleworth and a number of roads are subject to restrictions around Hyde Park due to ongoing work on the Cycle Superhighway.

In Wembley, sewer works are being carried out on the A404 until December, with TfL warning of delays.

Here is a list of some of the road closures and roadworks which could affect your commute to work from Monday (November 6) until Friday (November 10).

Isleworth

The A315 London Road in Isleworth will be closed in both directions at the junction of Wood Lane and Amhurst Gardens to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.

Work will be carried out during the night between 8pm and 5am from Monday (November 6) until Friday (November 10).

Cricklewood

On Monday (November 6) the A407 Walm Lane in Cricklewood will be closed in both directions at the junction of Stanley Gardens to facilitate resurfacing works.

Wembley

The A404 High Road will be closed eastbound between Park Lane and Wembley Hill Road until December 1 to facilitate sewer works.

According to TfL, traffic is slow along diversion routes, particularly on Park Lane, East Lane and Wembley High Road.

Motorists are being warned to expect delays.

Maida Vale

TfL is warning of possible delays on the B414 Elgin Avenue in both directions between Harrow Road and Chippenham Road until Friday (November 10).

The road is closed between 8am and 5pm due to resurfacing works.

Westminster

Broadway, in both directions between St Ermin's Hill and Victoria Street, will be closed until Thursday (December 8) to facilitate borough works.

The works are split into two phases with the road being closed between St Ermin's Hill and Caxton Street during phase 1 and closures in place between Caxton Street and Victoria Street during phase 2.

Also in Westminster, there will be various restrictions in place on Birdcage Walk, Hyde Park Corner, Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate until December 1.

It is to facilitate works for the Cycle Superhighway, which will provide cycle routes from outer to inner London.
