A man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance following an incident at a West Drayton trading estate on Tuesday afternoon (October 31).

London Ambulance Service confirmed it was called to Liddall Way to reports of a person injured at 12.44pm.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a single responder in a car and an incident response officer," a spokesman said.

"London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.

"We treated a man for an arm and leg injury and we took him as a priority to hospital by air ambulance."

An employee of a business on the trading estate, who asked to remain anonymous, said they believed the man was crushed.

They added the man was helped by nearby warehouse workers, who reportedly used pallets to secure the load until emergency services arrived.
