The weather in west London for Sunday looks set to be "fairly miserable", with wind and rain moving into the area during the afternoon.
A Met Office bulletin issued at 8am on Sunday (October 1) summed up the day with the headline "cloudy with outbreaks of rain, becoming windier later".
Presenting the forecast for the Met Office , meteorologist Charles Powell warned that Sunday "looks set to be fairly miserable".
He said: "It will be a misty and murky start out there, not particularly inspiring for a Sunday, and it will turn wet and windy.
"It will be a cloudy, damp and murky end to the day in the east of England."
The Met Office has a temperature of around 14 °C for 10am.
Its forecast for the day says: "Largely cloudy with intermittent light rain or drizzle through the morning, although there could be some limited brighter intervals.
"However, rain becoming more persistent during the afternoon and into the early evening. Turning windier later. Maximum temperature 19 °C."
Satellite images of the weather predict rain moving into west London at around 3pm to 4pm.
For tonight's forecast, the Met Office says: "Residual cloud and rain gradually clearing east, followed by clearer periods and mostly dry conditions.
"Windy at first, winds moderating a little overnight, although remaining breezy.
"Minimum temperature 12 °C."
For Monday, it will be a "mostly dry, bright and breezy morning".
"But, it will probably be cloudier into the afternoon and some rain may affect south coast counties for a time in the evening," the Met Office adds.
"Maximum temperature 18 °C."
