Pupils and staff at a school in Feltham celebrated two decades since the school first opened.

Edward Pauling Primary School on Redford Close marked its milestone 20th anniversary with a picnic on the field, on Monday (July 18).

After youngsters spent the morning learning about the school's history, pupils and teachers gathered for a picnic lunch and scrumptious cakes for each class.

Children were joined by staff to spell out 'Happy 20 Birthday' on the grass in celebration of the momentous occasion.

Each pupil was given a leather bookmark designed by the school council, as a memento of the occasion.

Deputy headteacher, Jan Price, said: “This was an outstanding day celebrating a great milestone!

“It was wonderful to see staff and pupils enjoying the celebrations to round off another exceptional year at Edward Pauling Primary School.”
