Drivers have been warned to take care on a "treacherous" stretch of road between Uxbridge and Iver Heath following a serious accident.
A woman had to be rescued from a car after it careered off Slough Road and into a ditch on Saturday (February 27) at around midday.
Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire & Rescue Service, whose crews released the woman, said it was not able to comment on the extent of her injuries.
Martin Donovan, who took these photos of the aftermath, urged drivers on the stretch to "take care and slow down".
He said it was particularly dangerous as the maximum speed changes from 40mph to the national speed limit ahead of a sharp bend heading out of London, shortly after crossing over the M25, but many motorists fail to observe the speed limit.
"Uxbridge and Slough peeps, please take care and slow down on Slough Road between Cowley Mill Road and the Pinewood roundabout," he said.
"It looked like the driver lost control on the bend and went over the opposite side of the road and into some bushes.
"This is the first accident I've seen but you often get people driving recklessly on that section. People need to be more cautious."
getwestlondon has attempted to contact South Central Ambulance Service, which it is understood attended the incident.
