Further revisions have been made to the planned development of the Walkabout site in Shepherd’s Bush.

Following the decision of Hammersmith and Fulham planners to turn down an application in May last year, Dorsett Hospitality International went back to the drawing board and amended their plans for the site.

These were displayed at a public exhibition on January 26, and following comments made there, further revisions have been made, which will be displayed at Dorsett Shepherd’s Bush on Shepherd’s Bush Green today (February 25) from 4pm-8pm.

Among the reasons given for the rejection of the application in 2015 was that the proposed building was too large and dominant in the conservation area.

The new application will see the plans to build the tower ditched, while parts of the existing building’s façade will be retained.
