A school teacher from Harrow proved she has the soul factor after making both Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson turn their chairs on The Voice on Saturday.

Stacey Skeete impressed the two superstars after her powerful performance of Shackles by Mary Mary early on in the penultimate blind audition round.

The primary school music teacher, who educates youngsters in Hillingdon , had to make the tough decision to choose against Welsh singing legend Tom Jones and American superstar J Hud.

But, in the end, it wasn't hard for the 27-year-old singer to decide which team she wanted to be on and opted for the Dreamgirls star Hudson.

The school teacher from Harrow was nervous in the waiting area

Speaking after the audition, Hudson said: "she has a beautiful voice and I want to help her get deeper into those gospel roots."

She isn't the only Harrow-born artist to come out of the area as last year Honey G made waves putting West London on the map.

Hopefully Stacey Skeete can do the same as she progresses into the Battles round which start on February 25 after the last week of blind auditions next week.
