Four men have been jailed for a total of 20 years for a string of violent robberies that in north west London that involved the theft of watches worth more than £12,000.

The robberies all took place last year and three watches and jewellery were stolen in the four incidents.

Cheyenne Cato and Denray Whyte, both 22, Roche Hall, 21 and Laval Adams-Robinson, 20, were all jailed at Harrow Crown Court on Tuesday (June 21) for the string of crimes.

The first attack happened on June 12 2015 when Whyte, of Dunster Gardens, and Hall, of Juniper Close in Harrow, attacked a man who was walking along Kilburn High Road with his girlfriend at around 11.30pm.

Watches worth £12,000 stolen

Whyte and Hall stamped on the man's face before fleeing with his £5,000 Rolex watch.

A month later, on July 24, Adams-Robinson of Ashley Road in Crouch End, attacked a man as he walked to his van in Dunster Gardens at 8.30am.

The victim was approached by Adams-Robinson and another man who pinned him against his van before stealing a gold chain.

Then five days later, Adams-Robinson jumped in the back of his victim's convertible in Kilburn High Road, grabbed him by the neck and stole his £6,000 watch.

Cato, of Iverson Road near Kilburn High Road, and Whyte were then involved in a robbery in Cavendish Road near Kilburn Station on the night of August 2 last year.

The victim was waiting by his broken down car when the two men grabbed him, punched him in the face and stole his £1,700 Tag watch.

Dawn raid arrest

Evidence from the incidents was pieced together by the Brent Crime Squad and a dawn raid was carried out at Whyte's home on September 30, when he was arrested .

Cato was arresting after a commercial robbery in Great Central Way in Neasden on October 13 and Adams-Robinson was caught in November 2015 thanks to forensic work that linked him to one of the crimes.

Cato was jailed for six years for two counts of robbery, while Whyte was jailed for seven years for his two counts.

Hall was sentenced to five years for one count and Adams-Robinson will spend two years and three months in prison for two counts of robbery.
