The opening of Uxbridge's Primark store has been delayed.

There has been a huge buzz in the area since it was announced a Primark would be opening in the town centre but it has been announced we'll have to wait a little bit longer.

But, in good news, Primark bosses have finally announced when jobs will be open for applications and when interviews will be held for the 120 positions it will create.

The store was originally set to open in time for Christmas but has now been delayed until Spring 2017.

Job applications however will open on October 27 and interviews will be held a month later on November 27 and 28.

The store has been welcomed by both councillors and residents.

Primark Uxbridge will be across two floors and will have entrances from both High Street and Chequers Square.

A spokesman for Primark said: “Primark confirms its store in Uxbridge is expected to open in Spring 2017, creating over 120 new jobs.”
